I've been traveling to Canada for years and have stayed in this hotel each trip. When I was searching for a place to stay I found other nearby hotel we're dirty, loud and smelled. I bring family and friends to this place ONLY. It's close to the highway and to eateries that we love like Eastside Grill and we can walk to the Chinese restaurant next door and have breakfast at the diner.
I have stayed at the Newport City Inn & Suites several times over the years and always found it a pleasant experience. Later on, I was fortunate enough to work with the owners on their website and social media marketing. I can tell you one thing for certain. Darrick cares a great deal about his businesses and his guests. He wants everything perfect and goes above and beyond what most business people do, to make it so. Honestly, I don't know where he gets the energy. I see that most of his reviews are 4 or 5 stars, and that reflects the amount of care and customer service that he and his staff provide, every day. He deserves those great reviews and works very hard to earn each and every one of them.
Clean and updated. Free breakfast could use a few more items. Staff very friendly. Coffee is great.
I'm usually here during January and February but I wouldn't stay any other place!!! The owners are very nice and helpful!!!
Second time here during a motorcycle ride through the Northeast Kingdom. Within walking distance to the East Side restaurant and bar. Great place to spend a summer evening. Recently renovated rooms and buildings.
They definitely have improved since the last time I was there. Room was clean and very nice, although prices seemed a little high for that area
